Public Transportation

With several accessible public transportation options, you can take your pick of ways to get to and from the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas and navigating the surrounding Las Colinas area. With a convenient light rail station, the Irving Convention Center Station, and bus stops at the Irving Convention Center, you can get anywhere in Las Colinas, whether for a quick lunch break or for drinks at Water Street after a conference.

Light Rail 

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) provides both bus and light rail service in and around Irving and Las Colinas. The Irving DART Rail Orange Line runs between the Irving Convention Center and the Las Colinas Urban Center Station, located near the shores of Lake Carolyn, making it possible for you to get to all of the best bars, restaurants, and entertainment that Las Colinas has to offer in between meetings. Bus

DART’s dozens of bus routes run all through Irving and Las Colinas, so you can jump on and off anywhere it’s convenient. DART buses usually come every half hour during peak hours and provide transportation from the area's airports, making them a reliable choice when planning a trip. Make sure to look up route maps, fares, and other information about DART by visiting the DART website.

APT

The Las Colinas Area Personal Transit System (APT) is another excellent option to get around Las Colinas. With four passenger stations located around Las Colinas, this climate-controlled people-mover will take you to many popular destinations near the Irving Convention Center. Ride between the Urban Towers Station near the Dallas Marriott Hotel-Las Colinas, Bell Tower Station near the Omni Mandalay at Las Colinas, the Station at 600 Las Colinas Blvd. on the south end of Lake Carolyn, and the Urban Center Station where you can transfer to the DART Rail Orange Line light rail. Best of all, the APT is free.

With both the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the third largest airport in the world, and Dallas Love Field, the hub of Southwest Airlines, less than 10 miles away from the core of Las Colinas, the Irving Convention Center can be reached by a quick flight from anywhere in the United States. Perfectly located in between the east and west coasts, Irving is a three-and-a-half-hour flight or less from most major airports in the continental United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Light Rail

With a dedicated light rail station at the Irving Convention Center station, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) provides light rail service directly to the Convention Center via the Orange Line. While the Orange Line can carry travelers to Dallas in about an hour, jumping on at the Las Colinas Urban Center Station, located near the shores of Lake Carolyn, can take you right to the Irving Convention Center in no time.

Bus

DART also runs bus routes throughout Irving, making it easy to jump on and off anywhere in the city. There is a bus stop just outside the Irving Convention Center, so you can get there from most points in Las Colinas. Check the DART website for route and timetable information.

APT

While you’re in Las Colinas, take advantage of the Las Colinas Area Personal Transit System (APT). This free, user-friendly people-mover will take you to many popular destinations all around Las Colinas. The four stops it makes form a perfect circle around the entire Las Colinas area. And, if you need the DART Orange Line light rail, simply transfer at the Las Colinas Urban Center Station.
