DART Light Rail & Bus
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is the public transportation provider for the city of Irving. DART services 12 counties with a combination of bus, light rail and commuter rail services. Buses operate every 30 minutes during peak hours, every 60 minutes during off-peak hours and provide transportation from the area's airports. The Trinity Railway Express connects Dallas, Fort Worth, DFW Airport and Irving South and runs seven days a week, though it requires taxi service from the station to the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. The Orange Line of the DART Light Rail Network connects the Las Colinas Urban Center and the Irving Convention Center with Dallas (including Love Field Airport) and surrounding cities and will connect to DFW Airport by 2014.
